System Shock 2, originally released in 1999, is an action role-playing survival horror title that was co-developed by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios. The VR mode is still in prototype stage, and it won’t be available with the launch of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition.

The studio reveal that they have a VR-focused development team for the VR mode.
The details from IGN’s report is exciting, with claims from developer Nightdive Studios that the VR mode won’t just be a tacked on gimmick, but a fully fleshed out feature. With the new details, we finally have confirmation that the game will be fully playable in VR (after a brief tease previously).
